Having vocational training and educational curricula on virtual career consulting at hand will allow consultants to extend their target audiences considerably. The institutional set up of virtual career consulting is not and should no lay on the shoulders of the individual consultants. It is rather a task in the hands of the private or public service providers. Questions surrounding the technical equipment, data security or mobile working need a framework and standards for practitioners inside the involved institutions. This is why we are producing a strategy manual stimulating organizations to deal with these topics. The OCCAY strategy manual will offer a profound basis to eliminate reluctance on legal, regulatory and technical aspects and establish a supportive, creative and safe working atmosphere for career consultants.
